After Twilight had finished telling her story and further discussions had taken place, Celestia and Twilight had some unpleasant business to discuss. Their world was changing; political ties, the tides of power, and their influence were shifting. Even worse, despite it never having been spoken, though neither knew it to be a secret, these two royals largely blamed each other despite knowing their own faults.
So, after a brief heated exchange, followed by some overdue apologies and concessions, the two parted ways. There were still issues of mistrust between them and the bridges had yet to be rebuilt, but lines of communication had been established, and some level of confidence had been established. After all, they both were going to through a lot, and going through it alone mostly in their own ways.
That left Celestia to turn her attention elsewhere. Where she wasn’t exactly alone as she used to be…
