I’d like to introduce you to Arsiel de Lavrae, a beastlizard from Fire Calhieri and the OC of my good friend Svyatoslav Ivashchenko. Arsiel is the main character of the book that my friend is currently writing and in it, according to the plot, this beastlizard becomes a close friend and then father to Scootaloo, who accidentally falls into his world. The universe of this book itself is a quality mix of fantasy and cyberpunk, where magic, immortal beings and divine creatures are present.

A character history:
Arsiel de Lavrae was born in the city of Riast in the territory of Amiringia to Gerard and Leonore de Lavrae after his father, who works in the police force, was promoted to the rank of sergeant and given a new apartment, where Arsiel spent his childhood until the Overlord took an interest in him at the age of seven and decided to take over his upbringing. Since then, Arsiel spent most of his youth in the company of a divine being who taught him various sciences and military science, bringing him to the territory of the neighboring country of Venkassia, hoping that sooner or later Arsiel would begin to see this place as his real home. This happened at first, until one day the Overlord decided to get rid of the beastlizard’s parents, whose death he later presented to his apprentice as happy news on his twentieth birthday. He hoped that he would be completely loyal to him and not rebel against his teacher who had raised him all these years. But Arsiel was furious at the news and, seeking revenge, attacked one of Venkassia’s fortresses, massacring those who had considered him a friend.

Arsiel returned to Amiringia and spent some time in want and poverty until he managed to get a job in the police force, as his father had once done, and over the years earned enough money to buy his parents’ old apartment.

After a few centuries, he teamed up with another immortal who lived in the jungle south of Amiringia, King Bakrus the Rightful, who was considered the ruler of the lands there and for many years had stood up to Venkassia and the Fire Overlord who had once betrayed him. They made a treaty, sealing it with the royal seal and declaring that they, along with several other immortals, would fight against the Overlord and his minions until they were completely defeated and peace prevailed in the lands of the Fire Calhieri. Thus was formed the Union of the Immortals of the Right Side, the first time in history that immortals united for a common goal, and Arsiel himself later became one of King Bakrus’ knights.
