It’s instantly obvious that none of these were trained with the same dataset as the OP, even if we’re looking at different imitation of art styles and generators. The non-pony ears, weird face structure, anatomy, hooves instantly give it away.

To follow your comment (which I agree with, btw), I think it might also be that we’re not actually that used to seeing our favourite cartoon pones face-on; they’re usually depicted with head turned slightly aside - not necessarily a full profile, but at least like a 3/4ths view or something. Face square-on is a lot less common and can look a little…off sometimes, just because of that.

Wow, such a strong opinion. Have you ever considered that it’s not the models producing ugly faces, but perhaps it’s just your lack of appreciation for different art styles? Maybe spend some time broadening your artistic horizons before making such sweeping judgments.
