For as long as she sat on the throne romance was very difficult for Princess Celestia. Every noble house in equestria wanted to provide Celestia with a “heir”… to one up all the other houses in the ultimate act of political domination. Centuries ago Celestia took steps to make sure she could never get pregnant, so as to not even provide them with the chance to satisfy that desire. Still they jockeyed to provide “favorites”…. to Celestia’s eternal disgust. No there were very few candidates for celestia’s bed. It was either glamour spells that granted her temporary transformations of her appearance which in turn allowed her to have one night stands in anonymity..which Celestia usually felt somewhat guilty about afterwards, or secretely visiting recently retired military officers who had once been on her detail. They were retired so there was no longer a boss/employee relationship, and if they had been on her detail she knew they were trustworthy and devoted to her. Plus celestia was well aware that for centuries “i’ve had a lifelong crush on Princess Celestia” had been just about the most common reason for a stallion to apply to be on her detail in the first place, so they were always extremely willing. Still they were retired, and even though they tended to be devoted generous lovers who did all they could to pleasure her(and she loved them all for that)…they were retired gentlestallions, not virile spring chickens.It was with no little sadness that Celestia knew that all her retired officer lovers had dreamt of bedding her when they had been virile spring chickens but that the demands of her station meant she could not grant themselves and herself their joint desire in their youth
But now it was Celestia who was retired! Twilight now sat on the throne. Which meant that Celestia could now kiss and bed every cute colt she wanted as long as they were willing. And she was happy to discover that once their surprise at the possibility passed, they almost always were willing provided they were single. And look, it appears your name is up next on Celestia’s list of “ Cute colts to kiss and cuddle”!
