Pinkie had been called out to a new birthday. It’s been awfully fun, in a crazy, hectic sort of way, to have the new tiny human denizens of Equestria bring their birthdays there. She’s been a busy party pony indeed. But what greets her here, today, is a mostly empty room, and one single solitary human boy… alone… on his birthday.

His adopted Pony Mother/Guardian told of how he’s been having a hard time making friends. And it’s culminated in a mostly barren birthday party… save for his adopted family. The mother was hoping that someone as well-versed in parties like Pinkie Pie could cheer him up? It was something the overly-energetic pony was more than up to the task for.

“Hiya! Happy birthday! Whats your name?” cheered the bubbly Pinkie as hopped in front of the small child. The tiny, nervous boy looked up at the massive pony.

“D-Derrick.” he replied, shivering a bit. Pinkie’s heart sank for the poor child, and became deadset on making this kid smile.

“I’m Pinkie Pie! Say Derrick… do you want a friend?”

A possible idea, a more ‘wholesome’ series involving an AU where humanity (on the planet Earth), about ten years ago, got inexplicably shrunk following some strange cosmic event. And ONLY humans got shrunk. So by the time Fluttershy arrives (accidentally), they find a race struggling to survive in a world now too big for them. Basically a Borrower-version of ‘Mad Max’, with that THAT implies.

One possible outcome is Equestria (upon Fluttershy’s return) deciding to ‘adopt’ the beleagured humanity and start bringing them to Equestria for a, hopefully, better life.

So here’s some big cute Pinkie Pie trying to cheer up a lonely human. Hope it’s decent.
