“I am glad that the process worked properly… my Dusk Shine.” chuckled the massive artificial alicorn, addressing Dusk Shine like a mother does to her child. The young unicorn didn’t know how… or why… but he just KNEW who this was. It was like a sixth sense.
“Twilight Sparkle?” he blurted out loud, blushing. His predecessor… or more like… his genetic mother.
“I wish this was under better circumstances, but I’m grateful for the chance regardless.” sighed Twilight Sparkle. “You are doing a good job… my… my child. My… son. It feels so funny to say that, given how this all came about. But regardless, I am proud of you.” quipped the alicorn, before she brought Dusk Shine into a warm, loving hug. Her wings wrapping around him in a loving embrace.
“I look forward to seeing your progress in the coming days.” whispered Twilight, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her son joined her in sobbing, feeling a warmth… a comfort that he had never quite felt before now. Not even with his friends back at camp. Time seemed to stop as they continued to hold each other.
But then… just like that, Twilight Sparkle was gone… disappearing as quickly as she had appeared.
Just something I threw together using NovelAI and Paint.net/Photoshop. For some reason am on a bit of a kick with the concept of ‘Fallout Equestria’ lately… and came up with this silly idea involving a male ‘clone’ of Twilight Sparkle, a version of the ‘Dusk Shine’ (aka: Rule 63 Twilight) character, waking up in a lab in a Stable, and having to make his way through the charred wasteland… with a head full of half-memories that aren’t even his… and barely an idea of where to go.
Just had this scene in my head, a possible ‘ending scene’ where he gets visited by the artificial alicorn that is seemingly possessed by Twilight Sparkle to talk to her ‘son’, seemingly having a role to play in.. or knowledge of… his creation.
No real big idea outside of this scene, so far, for any possible stories.
